It encompasses all the information on establishing an effective hygiene and illness prevention program to help protect employees from a variety of communicable diseases, including COVID-19

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Differentiate between communicable and non-communicable diseases.
- Examine healthy practices to prevent illness in the workplace.
- Communicate core elements in workplace hygiene and illness prevention program.
- Describe the importance of involving employees in implementing the hygiene & illness prevention program.
- Describe how engineering controls and personal protective equipment should be incorporated into an illness prevention policy.
- Discuss why management should have a response plan in place in the event of an infectious disease outbreak.
